It wants to deliver these solutions to businesses as locally as it can in the UK and its North England base is Warrington, where it has been for over ten years. During this time it has set up two more operations there and now has 13 buildings averaging 20,000 to 35,000 sq ft of office space to the largest at 135,000 sq ft of warehousing. Over a third of Fujitsu’s £60 million UK inventory passes through the Warrington warehouse facilities.

Fujitsu employs around 350 people in Warrington of which 80 work in warehousing. The other 170 hold a mix of sales roles, work in the call centre, in logistics, IT and technical support and even applications development.
